This course exposes students to the academic study of international relations. Since the world we live in is globalized and complex, understanding concepts and theories of international relations helps the students to interpret and make sense of the global events. This course introduces students with those fundamental concepts and theories, and covers a broad range of topics that fall under the major themes of international relations, such as globalization, world order, diplomacy, international peace and security, inter-state conflicts and collaborations, global and regional organizations, actors and factors of international relations etc. The main aim of the course is to assure that students become more aware about world events and develop the ability to analyze them with a theoretical framework of international relations. Moreover, international legal regimes depend on international relations as well as domestic public policies and legal regimes on various issues are influenced by international standards and rules. This course will help students to understand international and domestic legal rules
